The 2024 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad, will be held in Paris, France, from July 26 to August 11, 2024. Paris was chosen as the host city on September 13, 2017, at the 130th IOC Session in Lima, Peru, defeating Los Angeles, United States, and Budapest, Hungary.
2026 Winter Olympics: Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy
Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo to Host 2026 Winter Olympics
The 2026 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XXIV Olympic Winter Games, will be held in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, from February 6 to 22, 2026. Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo were chosen as the host cities on June 24, 2019, at the 134th IOC Session in Lausanne, Switzerland, defeating Stockholm, Sweden.
The 2026 Games will be the third time that Italy hosts the Winter Olympics, after Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1956 and Turin in 2006. The Games will also be the first to be held in two separate cities, with Milan hosting the opening and closing ceremonies and most of the indoor events, while Cortina d'Ampezzo will host the majority of the outdoor events.
